Deadlines for completion: 1 week
Scope: 110 linear metres of 10” pipe.
Corrosion protection by means of underground pipe taping work.
Most of the work is carried out in the workshop. However, once the entire pipe has been taped, the welds are reworked in the field.
TAPING PROCEDURE:
Application of a base coat of primer using adhesive. Subsequent application of the layers of tape. Application of the first and second coat to completely seal the exterior.
*The overlapping of the layers is done with 50% of each of the tapes.
